Atomic Love
Where male exists, to win his heart
There is a female counterpart;
But what of things inanimate,
Can bits of matter seek a mate?
Great mysteries do now entwine us,
No plus exists without a minus!
And Positron-that tiny mote
Doth on Electron fondly dote!
The Meason, born in outer space
Will oft his opposite embrace;
Do protons, locked in nuclei, sigh
For Anti-protons whizzing by?
The uncharged Neutron so splenetic
To Anti-neutron seems magnetic;
Minute Neutrino nood not vex
Science admits his anti-sex
Only the Photon, lonely quantum
Has no gal who seems to want 'um
This gamma ray, poor little drone
Speeds through the universe alone.
I thought i should share this with you
Much love Annie x
